Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN and the Clarksville ReStore are excited to invite the community to Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes, a special event honoring the volunteers, donors, nonprofit partners, public servants, families, and community members who help strengthen Clarksville-Montgomery County each and every day.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Clarksville ReStore, located at 404 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN.
This free community event is designed to celebrate the people from all walks of life who quietly and consistently give back to Habitat, the ReStore, and the greater community. Guests can enjoy free activities, music, food, games, and more, while connecting with local organizations and supporters who help make a difference across Montgomery County.
“Volunteers may not wear capes or run into fires, but they are quiet, impactful heroes in their own right,” said Kate Gauf, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN. “This event is our chance to celebrate the many individuals, families, and organizations who show up again and again to support our mission and strengthen our community.”
Community members, supporters, and area organizations are also invited to participate by attending the event or hosting a table. Table space is completely free and offers a meaningful opportunity for organizations to connect with others already giving back in the community, share resources, and build lasting relationships.
Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes was spearheaded by Stacey, a long-term workers’ compensation volunteer at Habitat, whose vision and initiative helped bring the event to life. Stacey has coordinated with area nonprofits and community partners to help provide fun, free activities and entertainment for those attending.
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN encourages families, volunteers, supporters, and community members to come out, celebrate together, and help recognize the everyday heroes who make this work possible.
