Clarksville ReStore Named Best ReStore in Tennessee for 2025!

We are beyond honored (and still a little speechless!) to share that the Clarksville ReStore has been named the 2025 Tennessee ReStore of the Year.

This award celebrates so much more than sales or success—it celebrates you. Our volunteers, shoppers, donors, partner families, staff, and community—you are the heart of everything we do, and this recognition belongs to all of us.

“This year’s Best ReStore in Tennessee goes to a store that exemplifies what a Habitat ReStore can be at its very best,” the announcement read. “A place where mission meets momentum, where sales fuel service, and where community and heart are woven into every aisle.”

We’re proud, we’re humbled, and above all—we’re grateful.

A Store Powered by People

At our core, the ReStore is more than just a store—it’s a space where neighbors connect, volunteers give their time and heart, and every item sold helps build homes, communities, and hope.

“Our store isn’t just about bargains—it’s about people,” said Penny McEntee, our fearless ReStore Manager. “It’s a place where neighbors connect, where volunteers give their time and heart, and where every sale helps build something bigger than ourselves.”

Whether you’ve lifted a couch, rounded up your total at the register, donated a box of tools, or helped us unload a truck in the rain—you’ve played a part in this award. You’ve helped make the Clarksville ReStore what it is: a community powered by purpose.

From the Team

We’ll be sharing more reflections and celebrations in the days ahead, but here’s what some of our team and volunteers had to say:

  • Maddy, ReStore Cashier says ” I enjoy the people and the mission and making a lasting impact not only in our community but to the individuals we serve.”  Nathan, echoes her sentiments and says “I like the positive atmosphere and knowing we are doing a great service in our community”

  • James Grigsby, one of the newest members of the Black Cap Crew – a group of committed regular volunteers says “For me it is the people, meaning the customers and people that work here.”

Thank You

To our volunteers, who give their time week after week—you are the soul of this store.
To our customers, who choose to shop with purpose—you keep us going.
To our donors, who fill our aisles with possibility—you make this work possible.
To our affiliate staff and partner families, who inspire us daily—you remind us why this matters.

This award isn’t just a win for our team—it’s a celebration of everyone who walks through our doors.

“Clarksville ReStore is what it is because of the people who walk through our doors every day,” Penny said. “This award is for all of them.”

Thank you for helping us build something beautiful.
