Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County recently honored outgoing board member, Amelia Magette for her three years of service.
Magette, Vice President/Business Lender at Legends Bank in Clarksville joined the Habitat board in 2021 and was instrumental in establishing the growing Habitat-Legends partnership.
“She shined a light on our work with bank President Tommy Bates and Legends became our champion,” said Habitat Executive Director Rob Selkow. “What was intended to be a one-time fundraiser just snowballed.”
“Legends was just determined to go all-in for Habitat. They sponsored the project, recruited a community minded builder (David Wyles Construction), and they remain involved on our board, guiding future Habitat homebuyers on budgeting, building credit and one-on-one mentoring.” Selkow said.
Though her time as a board member is over, Amelia continues to advocate for Habitat by sharing the mission with co-workers and her many community connections.
Thank you, Amelia.
