We are excited to announce that Habitat will dedicate 2 new homes to our newest hard-working and dedicated homeowners on Sunday, January 31st starting at 2pm. The community celebration will begin at 2748 Ann Drive and then we will travel to 1329 Poplar Court. Please come out and help us celebrate.
“What a great way to start a new year with 2 new dedications,” stated Shelby Logsdon, executive director. “Many local businesses and supporters helped build these homes. We particularly want to thank Todd Halliday of The Halliday Company Inc., a local home builder, with their sponsorship and dedication in building one of these homes. Madison Street United Methodist Church, led by Donnie Mitchell, owner of Wall Windows & Glass, sponsored and coordinated the construction of our other new home. Our families invested between 250-500 hours of sweat equity toward the building of their homes with the final hours spent working side by side with all the volunteers and supporters.”
Habitat hopes to build at least 3 new homes in 2016. We need more sponsors to make this happen! Home sponsorships are an ideal way for organizations and business to invest in the Clarksville community, develop team esprit décor while building stable housing in partnership with Habitat families.
